This week was a shorter and very busy week. We worked a lot on patterning and the letter Qq plus introduced 2 new sight words (come and some).
We used our patterning flip books to make lots of different patterns.
We played "Pick a Card and Pattern" where the children picked a pattern card and used manipulatives to make that pattern. 
We also reviewed our numbers by cutting out numbered farm animals and putting them in order to make a number line.
We worked on reading our new sight words during group reading time. 
We planted "bean patterns" and added scarecrows to keep the crows away.
We also made crows by tracing two handprints and a foot and assembling them into a crow.
Finally, we practiced our patterning using colored noodles!
